ELEMENTS are exchange-traded notes designed to track the return of a specific underlying market measure. ELEMENTS provide convenient access to markets and strategies that may not be readily available to individual investors. After their initial offering, ELEMENTS can be bought and sold through a broker or financial advisor on a U.S. securities exchange. Note: Swedish Export Credit Corp. (“SEK”) has resumed issuance of new securities of SEK-issued ELEMENTS ETNs following the filing of its Annual Report on Form 20-F for 2008 on May 20, 2009.
Note: On or about April 3, 2009, three commodity-linked ELEMENTS issued by Credit Suisse (the “CS Commodity ELEMENTS”) will be voluntarily delisted from NYSE Arca. As a result, the CS Commodity ELEMENTS will no longer be bought or sold on a U.S. securities exchange and their prices will no longer be listed on a U.S. securities exchange or quoted on any quotation medium. However, Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, an affiliate of Credit Suisse, the issuer of the CS Commodity ELEMENTS, has indicated it expects to bid for ELEMENTS offered for sale to it, although it is not required to do so and may cease making bids at any time. Current bid prices for each CS Commodity ELEMENTS will be posted on Bloomberg by CUSIP number. For more information please see the press release related to the delisting of the CS Commodity ELEMENTS, which may be accessed here.
